While we encourage you to give them a read, you’re just as welcome to call us directly for guidance.
How do I get emergency dental care?
If you believe you’re in need of emergency dentistry, please don’t wait to call our office. In the event you think you’re dealing with a life-threatening emergency, call 911 first or go to the emergency room. With that said, most emergency rooms are not equipped to handle dental emergencies that are not life-threatening. This means you’ll still want to visit our office to get the source of your dental emergency resolved. We are prepared to accommodate you for a same-day emergency appointment however possible.
How much does a dental checkup and cleaning cost?
Depending on your current oral health and the location, the cost of a checkup and cleaning can vary. On average, preventive care like this can fall between $200 and $350, but this price decreases when you have a dental insurance plan to provide coverage. A checkup usually includes not just an X-ray, exam, oral cancer screening, and professional cleaning, but a detailed overview of your health history.
What’s the best way to find an implant dentist?
You’ll want to start by confirming whether or not you want your dentist to be able to place and restore your dental implant in the same office. At EyeSmile, Dr. Salibian has the expertise and training to perform every phase of treatment in-house. On top of that, he’s currently a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, making him uniquely equipped to perform dental implant treatment.
Can your eyes show potential health problems?
Much like the mouth, the eyes are surprisingly effective at highlighting other potential problems within the body. For example, Dr. Ajoian can recognize signs of high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and numerous other issues you may be experiencing. This is just another reason why routine eye exams are crucial for both your eye and overall health.
How often should I visit for an eye exam?
To maintain healthy vision, it’s encouraged that you complete a routine eye exam at least once a year. Not only can your vision change over time, but underlying concerns can be caught early by Dr. Ajoian before they have a chance to cause severe harm. Changes in your eye health can also be influenced by your age, medications you are currently taking, and other overall health factors.
How much does an eye exam cost?
Out-of-pocket costs for a basic eye exam generally fall around $200, but this can vary depending on the location. Having a vision plan from your employer can work to reduce these costs further. Our office is happy to accept plans from a variety of vision insurance providers as well as file claims on your behalf.
